Humans drape themselves in jewelry, hats or medals as a statement of identity, class, tradition and honor. Paper Status is a body of work made up of paper sculptures, constructed into human accessories. These paper accessories are then photographed on models, and finally the sculpture and photograph are exhibited together.  Accessories are a means of expression, individualism, social status and sentimentalism however, in this body of work, the common denominator in each sculpture is paper, symbolizing human transience and equality.
